Out and about
It’s time to get outside and explore as Cornwall springs back into life. Our Hotel is a stone’s throw from the dune-backed beach of Par Sands and pretty Polkerris bay, both fantastic for dog walks, water sports and clifftop strolls. Fowey lies just down the road with its picturesque harbour, bakeries and pubs. Or hop on a ferry across the estuary to Polruan for a pint at the Lugger Inn. Don’t miss an outing to the excellent Eden Project, whose gardens are even more bountiful in spring.
Coast and country views
Spacious, contemporary and oh-so comfortable, our self-contained cottages and lodges have everything you need so you can focus on unwinding. Unpack your complimentary hamper, open the glass doors and let the country air in. Or sit out on your patio with a cuppa as you gaze across woods, rolling fields and the coast. With between two and three bedrooms, plus sofa beds, there’s plenty of space for everyone. Opt for a cottage and your dog can come too.

Explore the large grounds, where you’ll find woodland trails and an outdoor play area, or wander along to the main manor house for a swim or gym session. Treat yourself to a treatment in our spa. Play a game of pool in the bar and enjoy a relaxed bite to eat in the Du Maurier Room or on the terrace with striking views of St Austell’s Bay.
